I'm sitting in freezing cool Denmark. Our cable is totally frozen. I have the opportunity of getting a new board for this season and thought about the watson hybrid. Somebody that can tell more about how it goes at the cable and what fins that come along. I have the last year P2 and I have been all the way satisfied with that. Board I like for cable riding has been the Shane, Lyman, Team and the Trip. I had the Watson classic my first season, but found out the other board was so much better for cable.

I rode the Watson Hybrid at McCormicks and LOVED it... pretty flexy and much like my Henshaw press on rails. It has a little bit of character in the tip and tail that help it hold edge better than the press, which is obviously perfectly flat. I didn't ride it with fins so I cant comment on that. Way fun board... I'm actually going to try and take a boat set with one to decide whether or not I wanna ditch the S4 for that this season.

If only the graphic wasn't so lame :-) OMG!!

thank you very much.

I think I'm gonna go for this one.

I found out myself about the fins. You can see them on liquidforce.com under Vests. There is a picture of the board with fins.Upload

you can also take the cupped fins from the lyman(dont know what other shapes have them) and grind down the insides and make it flow with the bottom of the board. It makes it bearable on rails and still rides loose since the fins are small and fat. Finless is not too bad but a little extra traction is nice

yup hybrid with the lyman fins is a winner, going to replace my S4 which I didnt think would happen since I love the S4 shape.

Cool. I really loved the side cut fins from the Trip, so replacing them with lyman fins, is of course what I'm gonna do.

sweet, sweet, sweet
