$2600 for tower speakers and lights?

Depending on what you are actually paying for these options, I think that money could be MUCH better spent aftermarket.

Just food for thought.

EJ, I agree on the pricing, but the MC tower speakers and lights look great on that boat. Anothe issue is do any manufactures make decent looking clamps ot fit on that tower? Isn't that tower diameter aroudn 2.5 inchees? The $800 heater makes me cringe too......I'll put on a few extra layer of clothes.

Tax will be almost $4k in texas plus title and registration...another few hundred.....your looking at $66-67k.....

If I want my tower looking pretty, I'll get up there.... But for 2.5K....I better have some GREAT tower speakers.

I am under the impression that MUCH, MUCH better speakers can be had for that type of cash.

Look no further than Big Ed's profile.

DISCLAIMER: I have NEVER heard the 2006 MC tower speakers. If my assumption that they are not in the same league as NVS or = speakers is not correct, PLEASE feel free to correct me.

Is it just me, or does a white X-2 look a lot like a fishing boat? I expect some dude in a yellow raincoat and hat to be standing at the bow with a net or something.

MC uses JL audio products if I am not mistaken...

Better off buying yourself for a reputable audio shop.

They had a white and blue X-45 at the Houston boat show and i doubt that color scheme gets mistaken for a fishing boat.

you ask about the ballast and why the bigger boat companies dont put more ballast in their boats. can you tell me what boat manufacturer that has over 1000lbs. stock is nmma certified? what will you do when mb says we wont warranty your boat falling apart because there is too much ballast in the boat? you wont have to much support. im not saying the boats will fall apart im just saying the support will not be there when something happens from putting too much ballast in the boat. you also loose some of your rated seating capacity as now they are counting ballast as part in the weight ratings. 06 x2 will should be about 56,900 then add $ for any accessories, of course this will be different depending on your location. so with the standard accessories mcx, pp, bimini you looking 60+ freight and taxes -joe you got a smokin deal! i have your black bimini top btw.

the jl audio system that comes in the baot is the best stock audio system that comes in any boat. and in my opinion it will be hard to find aftermarket equipment better with out paying alot of money. riding at 75 ft with 4 tower speakers and you can hear the music very well.
