Malibu LSV owners.

I have an 05 LSV and we took it out today. I was a little disapointed in the wake. I'm coming form a SAN. What weight do you put in the boat and were. I have the quad ballast system and just want it bigger.

well the SAN wake will apear bigger since it is steeper. so you see it go from flat to peak quicker. Did you use the wedge? It'll wake the wake steeper, and put a nice little kick on it, the wedge is nice when you dont have alot of people in the boat. That will also be the diffrence the LSV is alot bigger boat as you know, so more people will make the wake better obviously.

More weight in the Nose. Even with the Quad ballast

Rich, Sorry to disagree with you, but if what he wants is a steeper wake he should put more weight on the rear, IMO.

Yes more weight in rear will make a steeper wake. But overall amplitude go fo the nose.

like hyperlite said head over to the site and ask the question. The LSV will take more weight to sink. A few hundred lbs in each locker would be a great place to start, but even it with some nose weight.

On last years boat I would put 2 buddies, side by side on the floor of the V drive. They fit perfect their but if you fill them two full it is hard to open the cooler. Just fill the boat with people and it gets huge. Steeper with wedge and rampier without

think of the wedge more of a wake shaper than a wake maker. which is more true when the boat is weighted down. But really the wake is awesome if you just have stock ballast and like 6 people.
