I have a '95 centurion falcon direct drive and the packing needs to be replaced. does anyone know if the prop needs to be pulled to do this.. i havent started this project yet and would like to know what im getting myself into! Thanks!

no it shouldn't most packing glands are 2 nuts with the packing in the middle. although some are difficult to get to. i haven't worked on a centurion.
