Anyone switch sides and ride with their back to the wake, or is this even advisable? I ride goofy and it seems I get more prop wash in the wake on the right side due to how the prop turns. The other thing is we ride on a smaller lake where you have to go counter clock wise, which lends to a better left side wake. I'm thinking about riding the left wake while still riding goofy, does anyone do this?

For me it is harder to get used to but plenty of people do it.

It's NEVER advisable to ride the darkside of the boat, but sometimes you have no choice. Backside is a great way to add some additional challenges to your riding.

Backside and backside switch.
