The earth is not perfectly round, it's kind of pear shaped.

You will be able to do mad butter slides.

it's a blast! you'll have a great time..

DPC got a video of Josh Storrer killin it on the Roam: http://www.dpcfilms.com/Videos.asp, that should get you amped to ride it!

i only do surface stuff with it, but it's loads of fun nonetheless..

Take that board to the wake. Its so fast it makes the cuts easy, and lands surprisingly soft for how flat the bottom is. Plus nothing looks more sic then a butter 180 while cutting ie. switch heel side buttered to reg. toe.
give it a shot.

Definitely try it on some glass... my one and only experience on it was in some semi-choppy water, and it sucked. I would love to give it another chance in better conditions

I haven't ridden in well over a year. Just been skating and surfing. Got on a roam...I am hooked, you can do it all on this thing! It has brought the fun back for me. Thank you hyperlite.

Jason,

Saw Delta Sessions 2 and your section is so crazy. You really are killing it on that thing. Hope all is well with the family and I sure hope HL starts paying you to ride the Roam. You and Josh are the only ones that I have seen that are just going off on the Roam.

anyone want to buy a 06 139 roam?

Just bought the roam three weeks ago and havent touched my PS3 since. Just landed my first wake to wake 360 on it and hitting double ups on it are easy because of how fast it is. This is my primary board now.

Dude, I just bought a ROAM today and can't wait to get out and try it. I was actually inspired by DS2 to go out and get one after I saw all the fun surface tricks I was missing out on. And I was able to pick one up a 2005 (the last in stock) for $149 bucks at Ultimate Water Sports in Fairfield. BTW I just bought DS2 on friday and it is now my FAVORITE wakeboarding movie of all time you guys killed it hard and really let them know how we do it in NorCal.

Whats the deal with sizing on the roam? I am 200 pounds & 6 foot tall, ride @ 23mph, intermediate rider. Currently ride a 138 Watson. Should I shoot for the 139 or bigger?

The 2006 Roam has provided the most fun I have ever had behind the boat. Once you figure out the edging, everything else is a BLAST!! I am 170 lbs and 5'9" tall and I ride the 144. I don't think I would be as comfortable on the 139. Super fun board and I recommend it!!

I just rode mine for the first time on Sunday. It was cool for sliding/surface spins...but my edge definately needs more work to really rip on this board. I was able to jump w2w no problem but it felt really slippery, maybe after a few sessions on smoother water i'll be able to throw down some tricks w2w.

I heard from a bird that CWB has a deck coming out for 07 that is completely flat on the bottom, but has stiffness becasue only about 2% of people ride rails.
I've never tried a Roam but everyone seems to like it...only negative I hear is they get no pop off the wake. This may be the ticket.

darren- go with the 144. the 139 is fun but feels way too small when gettin into wake tricks. you will end up digging the nose and slamming. 144 sounded big to me but when i rode it it felt perfect. i would almost ride bigger if they made it bigger. im 6'1" and 170 pounds

socalrider- the pop on the roam is different than a normal board. it requires more of an ollie style like a snowboard. i go bigger on the roam than i do on a normal wakeboard. the flexibility of the board is most of the idea of the board
