Hello,
I just recently purchased a 2001 Sang Air, and had a question regarding the ballast system. Can I empty it while the boat is still in the water or does it have to be emptied once I pull the boat out? I'm a newby to the ballast system so sorry if this is a basic question. I was asking because If I fill it and dont take the boat out of the water for a few days maybe even a week if it will do any harm? (that is if I have to wait to empty once the boat is out of the water)
Once again sorry if this is a basic question i'm learning as i'm going. this place has tons of helpful information!

Most empty while still in the water. You can leave the ballast full as long as you want. It may add some undue stress on your trailer and truck hauling a few hundred pounds around but do what you want. It might also make braking a bit tougher.

Take the water home and water your plants, why not...
