Oh yeah, you might want to think about tilting the 1010s down a little bit. When I first installed them on my X2, I had them in the exact same position. It made a noticeable improvement when I tilted them down so that they are perpendicular to the water when the boat is sitting still.

Thanks everybody,Duane,Clubmyke,Walt,Grant,Darren,Mark,Ke vin,Joefor the kind words,I'm pretty excited!! The set up is approx 80lbs and I couldn't drop the tower myself with the Clarions without hurting myself,so no I probably wouldn't attempt. Kevin ~ It's in the works! Joe ~ That bimini came with the boat the only thing is I picked the stripes how I wanted, and yes I love it!! As far as tilting the speakers I thought when the boats moving it will be OK

Big Ed - What did you end up doing about your battery / alternator situation? I have an X2 also and am finishing installing the same speakers but have yet to take it out on the water. By the way....great looking boat!!

Matt ~ I'm gonna run a 200amp dual output alt and a smartswitch(hellroaring). The tech thinks thats gonna solve my problem and no void on the warranty because the amps going through the computer is not gonna pass 70amp,and that's stock. It will be separate.

Big Ed, Do you keep your boat outside? If so, do you have any plans to protect the 1010s from the weather?
