Hi Guys, I've got my Canon gear up for sale. All the items were purchased brand new from B&H Photo just over a year ago and they are USA models (not Grey Market.)

Everything comes with ALL the original items, box, manuals, reg/warranty cards, cables, cases, straps. etc..

I originally purchased this gear for my wife's maternity/new born photog business (with selfish intention to possibly use myself which for obvious reason I've never had time to do... cough Global WarNing..), but it proved to be too bulky of a setup for her gig. She's moved to a smaller and more nimble Nikon/prime lens setup..

If you're interested in all three items, please let me know and we can work out a package deal.

Please no funny stuff (unless it's a good joke), and no shipping to your uncle's sisters nephew in Africa..!

Stupid question - other than a full frame sensor and faster fps, would the body be worth the upgrade from a 40D?

Darin - The Mark II has a 1.3x crop, so it's not a full frame.

Jessica - me too. ;-) Hurry up and graduate!

Ryan - Negative ghost rider.. I also have a Canon 50mm, that takes some impressive photos, but yeah.. the Mark II body was shot with a kodak disposable.

D700, that is the first thing that comes to mind when I see people dump their Canon gear.

David,
Does this mean your going back to borrowing (stealing) cameras ?

"Jessica - me too. ;-) Hurry up and graduate!"

Funny that's what my parents keep saying :-)

The 24-70mm has been sold

Walt - "stealing" is such strong verbiage.. More like "borrow" ;-)

Rich - I know there are various ways to check and I've heard mixed things about each. Do you have a preferred method/application that you would like me to use and I will get that info for you.

To get the actuations on the MkII (I have Photoshop CS3)-->

If you have the latest firmware installed in your MkII take a photo in raw and open it in Photoshop. Then go to File---> File Info...

In this window click "Advanced"
This will give a list of options, one option should be similar to "http://n.adobe.com/exif/1.0/aux"

In those details you should be able to find the image number.

Hope this helps.

That method doesn't work with 1Dmark2n for whatever reason.

I don't know how one could blast a 100K+ shots and still have the body looking like that so I don't think the image count is an issue with Dave's body.

Plus only Canon has the SW to get the exact count once it's been repaired or refurbed. given who is selling it I sure wouldn't be concerned.

Post up a picture on Flickr, you should be able to read from the Exif. Or email me a image from the camera and I will read it.

Rich- reading the image count from the embedded metadata isn't reliable on this particular model of camera. I've had the same body (1D markIIn) for a few years and my most recent image number reads 32,765. I've shot a few more photos than that...

I'm pretty much with Scott & Dykmans on this because I've been hearing the same thing. However I will do this once I'm back from the Reno Pro Stop and I'll post up a pic for you. My guestimate is that it's under 10k.

LOL - Scott I think you took 50k pics just for your "sequence" short in the bonus section of The Chick Flick.

The most outdoor action this camera has seen has been at Spanky Beavers about a month ago.. otherwise it's been babies and pregnant chicks! Riviting. :-p
