I have a Nautic Star Sport Deck boat with a 225 Yamaha. I'm looking to add some extras to enhance the wake size and overall ride.

One possibly stupid addition.... The suggested max load for the boat is 1600lbs. we normally have 3-5 people on the boat ranging from 120 to 220lbs. Any suggestions as to Fat Sac weights and configuration for the boat would be greatly apprecaited.

I'm also looking at tower options to add since we are just using the ski pylon currently.

WIll one addition make more of a difference than the other? If so, which one. I thought the tower would be the biggest difference but a bigger wake due to added weight also makes a lot of sense.

I appreciate any and all feedback.

Thanks

well in my old crestliner aluminum with a yamaha 90 hp we had about 1300lbs fat sacs and six people.

that will give you an idea of whats possible but def. weight and tower. dont worry about the max load we all go over.i think the max loadfor my old crestliner was under 1000 we had well over 2000 in it. But driving you need to be more aware.

you should also consider getting a lower pitch prop.

I have also an outboard, i added a tower custom made, and the biggest wake was with 9 people inside, 4 in the bow. Will try some sacs in a few moths (still winter over here). Tell us how it worked out, maybe some pics.
