Well as my stereo wattage grows so does everything else. I will be adding a few more Kinetik power cells to my set up as well as upgrading my charging system. Long story short my stereo bank will just about double in aH to around 500-550aH. My starting/deep cycle Interstates will remain the same and be dedicated to running the LED's and starting the boat. Not sure the aH on the Interstates SRM-24 & 24M-XHD but they are likely about 65-70aH a piece....these are rarely every get knocked down. My main concern is finding the right charger that will correctly bring the stereo bank back to full charge as well as maintain the interstates.

Should I have a seperate charger for each bank - starting and stereo? Or which charger will properly charge two banks with that many aH? Thanks in advance!

That is what my recommendation would of been as well. I would also look into installing a Xantrex linklite monitor gauge so you can monitor your battery voltage.

Here is actually a new 50A charger Xantrex makes that can simultaneously charge different types of batteries. It also has a battery temp probe and can be hooked to a Link lite and show you AH discharged, rates, voltages, etc...

Linklite

With that new XS series it looks like you would only need 1 charger for your entire battery system.

they discountinued the 12v XC series, its only available in 24v so that wont work. Xantrex also recommended truecharge2
