It's a bad angle for the photo but the guy rides away. He was able to put his leg threw the opening between the seat and the tank.

You never know when you need to hit a ramp. Always prepared. Besides, how do you think there was always a ramp on Dukes of Hazard and A Team back in the day. This is how they randomly showed up.
