We got the idea from a few of the posters on this site to use FRP panels rather than PVC Sheets or HDPE. I understood that everyone that was using FRP uses Liquid Nails to attach the panels to the wood. I used a small FRP scrap and glued it to a 2x4 to test the hold strength. The hold strength was really bad and I was able to pull the FRP off with just my hand. Now I am really nervous about using the FRP because it just seems to crack and split if you try to put a screw, nail or staple through it. It has been raining a lot, but I do not know what effect the humidity might have on the liquid nails. Do I need to get some of that cleaner that you use when gluing PVC Pipes together? Is there a better glue than Heavy Duty Liquid Nails?
