HOME MADE Towers and/or Pylons

responding to another thread got me thinking about hand built towers and pylons, especially the really ghetto ones where you can really tell the party who made it really have a heart for wakeboarding despite other skills and/or money and available equipment and tools.

I wish i had a picture, but the most ghetto tower i have seen was built out of gas-line piping. The thinnest, "unsafest" looking tower i have seen yet.

If any one has some pics of handmade towers and/or Pylons, I (and others) wouldn't mind seeing them. ESPECIALLY the ghetto ones.

... and the really nice ones where we can awe and amaze

I thought the gas piping one was a little crazy, but wood is a whole 'nother story... but then again, those gas pipes are not to thick. Even though it is out of wood, it looks... *cough* hmmm... rather sturdy

for real some of the homemade towers I've seen look like a possible death trap for the back seat riders but I've also seen some really badass homemade towers as well

1991 or 92 Forester. Me and my friends welded up a baseplate for it so the poll would just slide in, and we ended up not making any holes in the boat!!! Pretty good. I pray I dont have to ride behind it another summer though.
