Before I get blasted - I tried the search thing and its more complicated than asking.
Do the 90 degree exhaust tips / extensions do anything for noise? If so, where would I get them and are they easy to install yourself? Are they durable and functional or are they just for looks?

you mean the fresh air exhaust?

They direct the sound of the exhaust down not staight back so from behind the boat it will be quieter than straight tips. Overall it will help with sound but not CO2. I am not sure if there is an aftermarket bolt on. You can check places like,
www.rexmar.com
www.danamarineproducts.com
www.eddiemarine.com

Yeah - I like the fresh air exhaust concept, but its really the sound that I would like to muffle some. I just figured that the 90 degree tips would be cheaper to install than the fresh air exhaust I ve seen on this site. Anyone have them installed on their boat? Pics?

I've not checked it myself, but I asked once about the chrome exhaust tips that point down and someone said that they cost around $350, so I did not look into it farther.

My Fresh air exhaust is supposed to be in the mail tomorrow!

Have you checked into adding in-line mufflers instead?

I have tem on my 05 malibu wakesetter 23. the make quite a bit of difference. I love them for surfing. You cant smell the exhauset at all. it also helps when riding because you dont get the roar of the exhaust strait at you.
