Pound for Pound the best boat for your buck. Performance is untouched by any other manufacture.

I have not purchased a boat yet, but recently went through the whole evaluation process in deciding which was best for me. I think I was pretty thougtful and also very discriminating when looking at the various choices.

The boats I seriously considered were the SAN 210, MC X-2, Malibu VLX and the Sanger V215.

I keep comming back to the Sanger for various reasons (not in order of importance), size, quality construction, dealer, uniqueness, asthetics, price, skiability as well as boardability and my kids like it the best!

Drive all of these boats, and I think you will agree the V215 handles better than any of the others too!

I also found many helpful threads from guy's like Gary, Sangaria and Armydad who will tell it like it is and are great resources as Sanger owners.

One additional piece of advice...you can over shop...I did, about drove my wife out of the house!

I agree that the Sanger line as a whole is a very good deal.

Some of this other stuff "performance is untouched by any other..."....well, I don't know what that means.

I have one one order, should be here in about a week..I looked at several boats. You cannot go wrong with this one. I asked around from several people. It seems once you own a Sanger, you will not buy anything else. The only people who I could find to say anything bad, didnt even know anything about the different models, and would just say "Dont they use wood." Ohhhhhhh one more week, somebody make the pain stop.

E.J. they are probably refering to driving performance. I have only driven the V210 in the range but compared to the X-2, SAN, Tige 20V, VLX's I have driven there is a big gap in performance between the V210 & the rest. One of my friends has just bought a "matrix", a 20 foot direct drive ski boat from Ausy & the sanger out drives that too.

But then again I have the ownership googles attached pretty firmly.

Brought mine home last Sunday. I think we're in the same neighborhood, so I'll email you my phone number and you can come by and check it out. It's a well build boat, great value and like the other posts, great on the water.

Yep, chalk up another V215 on order… I’ve got about another week left before delivery as well. This has got to be the longest 6 weeks of my life.

I’ve been in and around boats since before I could walk. My parents always had a boat, no matter what. In that time I have developed my own opinion and expectation of boat performance, ride, handling, and wake. I also respect that everyone else has their own opinion and expectation, as well.

About 3 years ago I decided to take the plunge and seriously begin to research which boat would be my next. In that time I made an effort to ride in and behind every available boat within my price range of 40-45k. Boats I specifically looked at were MC, Supra, Malibu, MB, Supreme, Centurion, Tige’, Moomba, and Sanger. All boats had specific characteristics that stood out and differentiated them from each other. This particular mix of boats was represented by dealerships and friends of mine that have these boats. At the conclusion of that last boat show in Pleasanton, I had narrowed it down to MC, Malibu, Supra and Sanger. At the end of the day it was a toss up between Malibu and Sanger. IMHO, Sanger just had the best all-around combination of reputation, performance, ride, handling, wake, interior detail, price, and included options.

Dealership thanks to:
Sporting Edge
Delta Sport Boats
Central Valley Marine
Tracey Marine
Ski World
Ultimate Water Sports

Again, my price range was 40-45k. Had I extended this out 5-8k more, I would have a different boat on order at this time. I was not dead set on getting a Sanger or any particular boat at the time. I took everything into consideration and went with what I personally look for and could get thrown into the boat that fit within my budget. Sanger made me the best deal by far.

Easliy put if you ever plan to own another boat other than a Sanger then dont let Sanger be the first one you own cause it will ruin the rest of them for you. If you buy the 215 then you have now bought your 1st choice on the 1st try not 2nd try!!!!

Mike,
We bought our V215 last year. Can't say enough good things about it and not one bad thing. I would not get any other boat. Tried several on the water and they just can't match that Sanger handling! The wake is awesome! Try driving & boarding w/ as many as you can & you will see. SANGER RULES
