Looking to get a new life jacket for my wife for Christmas.

She is into (advanced recreational skill level) wakeboarding, slalom Skiing and wake surfing.

We live in Orlando area and get on the water at least twice a month all year long.

Would love suggestions from the women watersports participants as to brand, model and type of vest they use (neo, nylon, etc).

Looking to order today.

Thank You!

I bought my wife the CWB Solace neoprene vest last year for her birthday, and she has been pleased with it, fit, style, etc. During the summer, she used it every week and it has held up well.

My daughter wanted a "form fitting" type of jacket. Hyperlite makes a neoprene one that has the womens curves built in. It is called the Profile.

I have the Oneill Womens Outlaw Vest. It floats me really well, its super comfortable, form fitting and I've used it at least twice a week for over a year and it is still in perfect condition. Its worth the money.

I would go with the body glove eco. It has a built in lumbar, a support strap and, its the only vest ive ever worn that was coast guard approved and you dont know it. Also the neoprene is the softest i have ever used, this is the vest that i wear when i ride and i highloy recommend it.

The CWB Solace is a great Ladies CGA Vest, made for the ladies and its pink and black.

I got mine at the local board shop. They were sold out, but it only took 3-4 days to get in....

depends on how "endowed" she is. for some women, it wont matter. Others, it will.

I just tried on the LF Jett comp vest that arrived today. Very comfy! I'm keeping one for myself for this summer. It seems to run larger than JetPilot vests. It also has the small pocket to hold a LiquidTunes player.Upload

Nacho is exactly right. If she's well endowed it can be extremely difficult to find a vest that fits.

I have an 05 Hyperlite Profile and it works well for me.

I bought my girlfriend one of the HO Ski vests that came out last year. It has the built in cups for the "girl parts". She loves it and says it doesn't "smush" her like the other vests did. Best 90 bucks I spent! Last year it came in light blue/black and black/pink. Haven't seen if they still have it for this year.

The new Helium Crescent looks pretty sweet. Not sure if they are available yet though.

Elizabeth - Does Antbug carry that Profile vest @ his shop? Maybe we can stop by there and check them out for Renee.

I saw this one at Lake Pleasant this summer and thought it was the best I've seen yet. It's stylish and clearly has a lot of buoyancy....

Thanks lizzy. I wasn't sure how far to take my post. I have had issues with this. The Jetpilot girls vest (can't remember the name) is the one my chic decided on and is comfy in.

I seriously would not consider ANY of the above pictured vests. What you should be concerned about is the armhole cutout. big hole = to much movement. Small hole = everything stays where it should.

The HO with cups... SOUNDS good. but has a huge armhole. Wouldn't even consider it. And its no fun to wait in the boat in between pulls while your chick gets "situated"

Again, it all depends on the woman and her body. The profile does have really big arm holes, but I'll take that if it covers the goodies.

I thought about the armhole thing as well, BUT, like my girl said, the vest is made for someone with a C cup or larger. If she's smaller than that then she could just wear a regular fit vest. The cups keep the "goodies" (thanks lizzyb) where they're supposed to be and also keep the rest of the vest where it's supposed to be. Just the observations of me watching and my girlfriends experience.
