Saw my doc at OrthoCarolina.....and news was good. All my big straps are good, no scar tissue from all the old MX injuries, and no signs of arthritus, or joint damage. I do have bursitus in my lower right knee and I am taking Celebrex for that, and may have to do some therapy and/or Cortizone shots. He said there is some scar tissue there and I have probably torn that area a few times....but it's better than an ACL, MCL, or PCL!!!!

Yeah I was really sweatin' it...for good reasons though. I didn't want to have surgery until hunting season was over, or at least deer season when I'm climbing trees, and I didn't want to miss snowboard season either, which is short here, but still.....then usually by mid-March I'm back on the water...so, this was GREAT news! I'm not giving up my lifestyle for a stupid knee!! lol

I was shocked at how clean the X rays looked though. I've wrecked both knees many times, and actually broke my left knee cap about 10 years ago, so I expected to at least have some minor issues with the big straps. I think I will give up the wakeskate while I'm ahead though!!!!! Take up longboarding with Kylie or something! lol
