Last weekend on Mohave we filled up a single 75 gallon sac on the rear port side. What a blast!
This is our first attempt on wake surfing on the landlock, or any other board. It was a lot of fun, especially trying to figure out the speed and turning radius.

Cool. Welcome to wakesurfing. In the picture you posted, the rope is WAY to long. When you fall, you can easily become tangled in it causing injury. Go to:

for additional rope information.

That's a nice wake for only 75 lbs! We were out last night & tried for the first time, I couldn't get my hurricane looking anything like that. We had the center ballast filled & a fat buddy in each rear storage compartment. We would shift the two people in the boat on either side depending on who was riding. We have a goofy rider in the boat so we can not dump all the weight in one corner without emptying & refilling ballast.

I am such a stickler for details, I do believe the first post identified a 75 GALLON sac...so with water weighing 8.34 pounds per gallon that would be about 625 pounds. 600+ pounds would make an acceptable wake on that Elite-V.

ooops, my bad, you are in fact correct! That makes ALOT more sense.

Nice Bruce today we just finally got our wake dialed in perfect, just for reference if your wantin to add more weight. We threw 600lbs in the left rear locker, 600lbs in the middle left, next to the seat, and the center tank(500lbs), and im thinking were gonna end up putting about 300 in the bow, just to finish it off ill post some pics soon, but the wake is amazing. But looks really good man, glad you had fun.

Thanks guys, We also thought the rope posed a safety issue. We rode at 11-1/2 MPH and changed the radius depending on wind or other conditions.
Enjoy.
