what can you tell me about this boat? Found one in our price range. Just don't know anything about it. It's a 2003.

They made a 236 in 2003? Are you sure it isn't a 226?

I assume it is a Nautique 226 with a limited package.

So not edition, but package. Like "Team" or "Signature"

Just pulled my 2003 catalog or whatever you call it. (no I do not collect them, my SAN is a 2003)

There was no "signature" package with the 226, so just Team and Limited Packages on this boat in 2003.

The following items were standard on the Team Package, but options on the Limited....Dual Battery Box, Perfect Pass, Helm Ballast Control, the upgraded stereo(Kicker), Composite Swim Platform, Rear Ballast, Center Ballast, FCT, Flight Clips and the jump seat.....

If it only has 300 lbs center ballast how hard would it be to add enough ballast to make good wake? We want to be able to surf as well as wakeboard. The one i am ref to is listed on only inboards in plano tx if any one wants to take a look, honest opinions needed!

The boat is in great condition, I am just concerned because it does not have a lot of the things we want, like tower racks, speakers, rear ballast, etc. Do you think its a good deal?

That is odd that it has center ballast and not rear....?

Racks and speakers are easy enough.... In fact, I'd rather get my own tower speakers..... Ballast is easy enough as well.... Just figure that stuff in when shopping and then you can decide if the price is right.....

A quick search on boattrader....it appears that the price is okay. It would be interesting to see what boats are selling for nowadays, not listing for....

Here is another 226..... Pricing is close, less hours(though both are so low, doesn't really matter).... Wonder if it has been in salt water....
