I own both, and Push Process blows Transgression out of the water, despite being on the short side. Transgression is a great movie, and they introduced me to Manchester Orchestra--so I'd recommend it to anyone--but the level of riding isn't near that of PP, and Transgression tends to get a little artsy and long in the tooth. I've seen Transgression twice (with Lidberg's and Randy's sections the only ones I know I'll watch again); I've already seen Push Process about a dozen time all the way through...it's that good.
Great review Ronnie. One correction though...Rathy's Pete 5 was switch and how could you not mention the HUGE w2w back 7?
I agree with you on the slims though...Keith and Chad have declared ownership on how to make that trick look good while going big.
Lyman does what Lyman always does...amaze. But this video belonged to Rathy, no doubt. The best wake athlete (boarding and skating) going. Period. The switch heelside 10 he over-rotated in the credits was insane. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone go bigger on HS spins off a double up than him. Throw in a shuv-it ONTO a rail for good measure.
Good to see Dallas back riding. GREAT to see Hampson back having fun and pushing the sport.
Other highlight's include Rusty's picture-perfect 10, Tino's mute (I think?) mobe 5/HS ole 9, Amber Wing's near misses on HS 7's, Adkison's edge-over-edge indy frontroll, late TS 360 crow mobe, and some of the funniest skate crashes you'll ever see. And the soundtrack: I've been wearing out Holy Diver and Burn My Shadow.
