if i remember right... tandem trailer is like a $600 option.

I've priced out a few and seen anywhere from low 40's (single axel, with some average options) and all the way up to $52k fairly loaded, but still on a single axel trailer.

above is including destination fees

That one linked above has 299 Hours on it. I priced them all over the north east US and found the lowest to be about 42k for some average options as the poster above stated.

2012's seem to have gone up ~2k.

axis (malibu) shoudl really think about knocking the prices down 4k.... they are starting to approach other boats in the market... I know a guy who knows a guy that help start axis and has gotten real frustrated with how malibu keeps forcing the prices up when in reality they could be somewhat lower

look for 3-5% increase next year + $1800 for the cat which will be standard...

just bought mine with tandem. it really depends on options . You're looking at high 40's with tandem (not tricked out). Has pnp, pu cleats, stage 1 stereo, swivel driver seat, chillax, fixed racks, 335motor, standard prop. My 2011 actually came with the 2012 glove box which I really like compared to the spring assist one.
I was ok with the stage one stereo. Axis prewires the tower and if I got the mtx tower speakers, I would have immediately ripped those off for my kicker 6500.2 speakers. Axis includes the full amp rack so you can add additional sub/amps. I plan on lots of weight so I went with the oj 5 blade myself (heard it's an option for 2012) as I've heard really good results from Chattwake. Mine shipped with a single axle (Axis/boatmate?? mistake on order) so I'll get the tandem that should have come with it in about a month. I upgraded to the tricked out trailer and added the tower mirror mount and deck trac (my boats black/orange and after sitting in cove, that black starts to get hot!)

Really love the boat though! Very easy to mod and add things too!

Matt, when are you getting the 5 blade installed?

They are definitely more exspensive than I expected. Checked out one and price was $62,000 but they would sell it for $57,000. No longer a price point boat. There are a lot of boats less expensive than this. Granted this one had a lot of options but still. Oh well will keep lookin(.

Where? I got quoted on a 2012 mb 21 tomcat for 59k. I'm just beginning to think the only way to get a deal on a boat is to shop outside of the Midwest, it seems like every dealer I talk to jacks up the price, regardless of brand.

I think it is everywhere Matt. We keep buying so they keep jacking up the prices.

I know that both Larson marine and salinas valley marine in northern California were selling in stock mb 21' boats (twbs and tomcats) for under $50k.

I got my 23' last week from Larson. It's HUGE!

From what I understand is that Larson marine put the MB's on a cheaper trailer than MB uses and does not order any MB's with options like wake plate, tower speakers etc. That is why they are cheaper.

I was really interested in an axis a20/a22, but have been browsing the axis forums lately, and 1 out of 5 threads seems to be issue threads about new boats.

Not down in Texas. I haven't seen a loaded out xlv (regardless of tower option) for below 56.
