How is everyones boats doing? Any problems yet? I have no complaints yet, but would like to know what to look for. I have about 10 hours on mine now.

Also, how are you distributing the wieght? Are you filling all three stock ballast tanks and adding more sacs, lead, sand, etc. or just using the stock ballasts?

Aaron,

My bud's 215 with the 5.7 Black Scorp has only had service for a light hesitation from idle (which I don't notice but he does so whatever). Also, the trailer was not right when he got it - the bunks were too low (prop even with propgard!) so they quickly remedied that.

Oh yea, and the depth finder (uniden) is malfunctioning but that is aftermarket anyhow.

Other than that it has been perfect. Not using any additional ballast yet, the triple stockers have been more than enough. Just gotta keep the passengers in check so they are even and it's damn good. We do have 2 500# sacs that we will play with later on - just havent had the need yet.

When we use the sacs I will post up rider in tow shots.

Mine has about 18 hours on it now, I'm taking it in for the 20 hour service on memorial day weekend (not going out on the first rookie weekend anyways). I had one pump that wasn't working when I took delivery of it, and I have the same problem with the trailer that was mentioned above. Other than that, I've been extremely happy with it. The ride in rough water is AMAZING, but I'd like the wind to die down now, thanks.

Check your owners manual regarding the 20 hr service. Most of the Mercs do not require it anymore.

Well, it's got to go in anyways to get the few small things fixed, so I made the appointment for the 20.
