The Nationals kicked off today in Indy with lots of action for amateur riders. Check out full results at http://www.wakeworld.com/news/2003/wsm33.asp.

Notice that WakeWorld's own Team Valdez had some success with Jacob (first in heat, Jr. Boys) and Eddie (third in heat, Boys) moving on to the finals.

Right on! Talked to Robyn Valdez right after the kids rode, she couldn't have been more proud! Also, local (SoCal/AZ) AJ Racinelli is seeded 1st in the Boys finals and will be riding with Eddie, Tadpole, Reed Hansen, and the other boys who made the finals. His Dad, Anthony, took 3rd in Veterans, and made the cut to ride tomorrow also. Jr. Men ride tomorrow - Good Luck to Joe Greenway, Tyler Killingsworth, and Shaun Teegardin!

Coincidentally, I just posted some pics of the latter three you mentioned from one of the So Cal Wakeboard events this summer at http://www.wakeworld.com/articles/2003/socal.asp

Not that he's going to see it, but I wanted to wish Michael Vincz good luck today in the finals. Because of work and other things I couldn't make it down to watch him ride yesterday or today. Does anybody remember his run? Was just kinda curious what he did. I know in an INT tournament last weekend he was trying tempertantrums off the double up. Hopefully he'll try one today at finals!!
