Got to wondering from the other thread going right now about what a pain in the arse inspections are (never mind whether they are good or not) and thanked heaven my two lakes I go to don't have inspections.

Lake Elsinore is where I live, and I'm pretty sure nobody cares enough to inspect boats there, but my favorite getaway lake is Lake Mojave in Nevada. There haven't been any inspections there but it looks like most lakes on this side of the US are going to mussel inspections. Anybody work for any agencies around there that might have some insight?

On a second thought, does Lake Havasu have inspections?

Im pretty sure that Havasu and Mojave are already infested with quagga mussels, So i dont think there is any reason to do inspections.

Yep Danny is correct, pretty sure the entire Colorado River system is already infested. Sounds like Elsinore might already be infested as well...
