Was thinking of upgrading my 08 OT Watsons, but looking for something significantly lighter, does it really matter? My new board, SS Response ended up the same wt. as my Watson 142.

I had the company vandalls on my 09 response and it was a nice weight. I had CT 09 watsons and it was a pretty light then too.

CWB Answers are probably as light as they come for a full height, pro model, closed toe.

SS PBs are light but think we need a ' scale off ' to settle this!
Old     (andrewjet)      Join Date: Jan 2003       08-23-2010, 12:32 PM Reply
WOW! I just went and weighed my Ibex and ones. 12 LBS!! Bathroom scale, not real accurate. I knew they were light but wow! My old Parks board felt liked it weighed 28 lbs, lol.

good idea Ross.

SS bindings are super light, when they're dry......

Ronix one's. They come in foot sizes, not small medium large. Although I'd wait to see the 2011 stuff. And yea Robot, in the last couple years boots in general have become ridiculously light. I dunno if it matters, but it definately doesnt hurt.

Thanks! Everyone should weigh their setups. MTN Bike scales and Fishing scales work great. Numbers don't lie and are alot more accurate than 30 people saying their setup is super light, without proof it's like the equivalent of asking if a board pops hard :-) I second the scale off! Make sure to include hardware, no cheating :-)

Great Idea, but just the bindings, lets keep the boards out, or in another thread

+1 for Ronix, the lightest and most comfortable boots around!

I found the relics to be very uncomfortable
Old     (bmartin)      Join Date: Jan 2007       08-24-2010, 10:52 AM Reply
Put some SS D2s on the bathroom scale last night and got 6lbs for both bindings after two weighings but can't really trust the scale for light weight stuff. Anyone at a boardshop have a scale handy?
