Taking my dad up there for his birthday, boating from rivers end probably, just wondering about how long a trip it is.

Any suggestions on routes, I do have a good Delta map.

Thanks

you're looking at about 1.5 - 2 hours.

good two hour trip. You have a few different ways you can go. Maybe head toward Tower Park and and then up to Locke. I would try to avoid the deep water channel as it can get rough. If your not sure about the way give yourself plenty of time as it can get pretty skechy in the dark coming home.

Oh watch out for Al The Wops.......... good food and good cocktails

Thanks for the info,

Al the wops was the goal and we got there, had a great burger. It took about 2.5 hours up through Georgiana slough which was kind of slow going, lots of 5s but it was mellow. Came home on the Mokulmne 1.5 hours to rivers end. The channel and Franks tract were super blown out with 2 to 3 foot rollers, not a very fun section but that was only 15-20 minutes of hell out of a much longer trip so no biggie. Makes me realize why wakeboats are purpose built, a 26 foot seaswirl or something would have been nicer!! and I used about 20 gallons of gas up there and back I estimate about 60 miles....
