Haha, how funny. I used to have that vest, and it was good for a while, but I started to hate it when it would ride up around my head when I would crash cuz there's no strap to hold it down. When I tried on the A-10, it was uncomfortable, but now it's like formed to my body. It really softens up once you wear it a couple times.

here's my 2 cents. don't get the vapor unless you don't ever plan on falling. the vapor's super comfy when it's on, but when you fall, it will ride up on you and protect like 2% of your upper body. i wanna give the a-10 a try.

yeah.. i got the vapor.. super super comfortable to wear... but when you do take a gnarly bail it can ride p a bit.. for me its not that big a deal.. im used to falling really hard while snowboarding and having a garage sale anyway.. i have had the a-10 as well, and i think having that strap on there caused me to breack a couple ribs last year.. had the strap on tight to hold the vest from sliding up, and shen i bailed i broke the ribs right above the strap.. both good vests, the vapors a lot more comfortabe -

Interesting Josh.. I bought the A-10 last season to prevent me from breaking another rib, although after reading your post Josh I wonder. I bought the A-10 for the impact resistance. I like the A-10 alot. Its light and way comfy, but it doesnt float worth shi*. So I have learned to stand on my board when floating waiting to get picked up. Other than that I love it.

I tried out the A-10 and found it to be uncomfortable and offer very little protection. I ended up purchasing a Nevin Flak Jacket and I have to say it is by far the best vest Ive used up to now. The inner lumbar strap helps support you back but it also keeps the vest from riding up. If I was going to spend the money the Flak Jacket would be the way to go.

Is the Nevin Flak Jacket the one with SWAT on the back? I've got that one and well, to say the least, it's really annoying. The zipper always comes down and if you take a header, you'll find the vest floating away by your left hand. It comes off of me on my hardest falls, which is really comforting. Of course that was the jacket from 2 years ago, so I'm sure it has improved tremendously by now

Na dude the Flak Jacket says "Flak Jacket" on the back. My jacket has a velcroe latch that keeps the zipper from coming down and ive hit pretty hard and havent had any problems with it comming off. Like i said earlier the support strap on the inside keeps it from going anywhere.

i think it sux. i bought one and i now regret it. not comfy at all and it rides up a little. the inside bottom part of the vest where the zipper is tends to rub really bad. but if want to look super trendy and style is what you are after, get it.
