I am finally back! I just experienced my first taste of riding since my shoulder replacement surgery last August. I had the great fortune of surfing with Mike (vman) and his wife Angie and crew in sunny Arizona. As a teacher from Idaho, I usually ride at home in 45- 50 degree water over Spring Break. Not this year.
To make the trip even more exciting, Jeff Wahler sent a brand new SoulCraft SoulSkimmer board with me. Mike, Angie and Jeff made my Spring Break in one word - Epic! The best part about wakesufing is the amazing people that you meet along the way.
Here are some pics from my trip:

Is that lake pleasant?

Yes it is Lake Pleasant. Water was low 60's and air was low to mid 80's. It was absolutely perfect!
We missed you Jeff. We took the SoulCraft team pic for you. I love the new Soul Skimmer. I rode it with the single fin and with all three fins. It is one sweet ride. I was able to spin it all the way around on that massive X45 wake, now I just have to ride it out. Come on Idaho sunshine.

Great pics! Mike, is that a custom swimstep on your X-45?

It is custom. Makes a big difference compared to the factory one.

Thanks Scott. At least the air temp. is suppose to be nice this week. I think we just have to get out the wet or dry suits and go for it.
