I came across a rack a while ago that held four boards/ It held two the standard way, at like a 45degree angle, and than held two on top of that more like a 90. I know D-bot has one that you can add a third board to but I can't seem to locate this quad one I found as I am looking for some new racks. It was a pretty slick design I thought.

Anybody have any experience with this quad rack or the D-Bot 5 rack?

Thanks

Damn That is it. Couldn't remember for the life of me where I saw it. Thanks Drew. Anybody have an experience with the NVS racks? If their racks follow what their speakers due I can't imagine them being too bad

I have the NVS 4 board racks on my Malibu 247. I used them all summer and they worked great. Good solid design.

The only issue I have right now is the rubber coming out of the grooves on 2 forks. But I think it is mostly because of the glue. I will contact NVS about that, but pretty much every rack company has that same issue.

PS, mine was one of the first racks, so the rubber issue maybe resolved....

Yeah pretty much the rubber on all of the racks I have owned has had an issue one way or another. Just was curious how tight it was to get those boards in and out with all 4 being on one rack. Was worried the bindings on the top rack would rub the tower on the inward facing board and rub the bottom boards on the outward facing one.

Stewert,

Did your's have that wheel design on them to keep them from contacting the rubber?

Yes, wheel design. So far so good.

On my boat there was a specific way to load all the boards. Check out my pictures.Upload

Thanks alot for the pics........Worth a thousand words for sure.

You have any problem reaching that bottom strap while there are boards in the top? Sorry for the 20 questions just want to make sure before I purchase as there are a ton of different routes to go.

Not that bad. Once you start using the racks you get into kind of a system.....

Stewart et al.

Thanks for the review. Regarding the rubber, yes we did have a few that escaped a special process prior to the adhesive application that resulted in some coming loose. It was only applicable to the hard chrome versions....too shiny/smooth. Give me a ring and we'll fix it quick.
