Most boats a good speed is 22-26. Experiment with the speed until it's clean and not foamy when you hit the wake.

Thats gonna vary depending on your boat, line length size and skills. What you want to make sure of is you're not sinking when you cut out wide, and you're comfortable with the speed you pick up when cutting back in. Trick to clearing the wake is method. Edge all the way (pulling on the handle slightly) through the wake, standing tall off the top. Keeping the handle at your waist and eyes looking across the wake you should clear it easy. Make sure to bend your knees at landing and don't look down at the wake as you land.

Drive in the boat and adjust the speed looking at the wake- whenever its cleanest, thats the speed. Drop the rope in and adjust the length to the sweet spot on the wake. Theres your line length.... Your results may vary
