So, i've tried it a few times, I can always land w/ the board under me going in the right direction, but i feel like the handle is too far out, and too much tension is on it, I rotate it over the 2nd wake, please advise me, I wanna be nailing this trick this season!!! I have hs fs 180 down like it aint no thang. Should i try getting on my hs edge once I ride down the wake?
Thanks

pull the handle to the center of your back and make the pass.(yank it and create some slack) you dont wanna be on your hs edge when landing. it can hurt. you also need to look more behind the boat. i usually look back at the wake that i jumped when landing these.

Turn your head and point your chest towards the shoreline. It might help you to pass the handle before you land until you feel comfortable landing wrapped. This will keep you turning. You also need to come around about 90 degrees more to be in proper landing position.

Yeah, this picture was taken about 1/2 through the rotation, I continued it around and faced the boats trail right before I landed, I just started spinning, and I am about to turn my head.

I agree with Alan, on all counts.

You should be looking right down that wake line at the washed out section or somewhere beyond, this is why your probably skipping out on your heels/butt.

the ticket to success for this trick it to look away from the boat in the direction you just came. As long as you are lookin in that dircetion your sholders are in the correct position for landing this. I notice that the handle placement feels very natural when i focus more on looking away from the boat. Once you land, pass the handle

Couple more things to think about . I like to pull the handle to my front hip before rotating to create slack in the rope. Also, I've found it is easier for me to land the trick if I pass the handle late. When I pass early, I end up being pulled into a 3. Really think about landing on your toes. Good luck.
