having trouble sticking them...
tried last year, and still having problems now...

If i just try one off an ollie, I always end up about 3/4 of the way through the rotation with the handle nowhere near my back, and get yanked over...

I've tried ollying from inside the wake to out for a half foot more air on my ollie, still no luck...

I seem to get a lot closer when i pass the handle if that helps...

dry land- I can do them simple, leave them real late or whatever, and have the handle locked into my back...

but when there is a pull from a boat, it's a different story...

hmmmmmmmm.......

Stacy try cutting out really hard letting go of the handle then trying it. Once you can do that with no problem then try it with the handle. It's not an easy trick. I didn't it consistent until I went back to the basics and made sure I could do each step solid before moving on.

1. In the flats with no handle.
2. In the flats with the handle. You can do it wrapped or with the handle pass it's up to you. When I first learned them I could only do it with the handle pass. When I wanted to relearn it landing wrapped I had to go back to the flats.
3. Inside out. Although I didn't do this alot it helps.
4. Wake to wake.

Remember to keep your weight directly over the board. You will take some hard falls but that's how you get the trick.

That's how I learned the trick, good luck.
