My son just turned 5 and he started to wakeboard on his own. He looked forward to it all winter, just needed some warm weather before he would get in our freezing lake. Here is a quick video of his third time riding this year. he has progressed already. And yes, he is wearing his shorts over his full suit like dad, lol.

I can honestly say as good as it is to learn a new trick, watching your kids do it is even better.

so pumped for you... That was awesome to watch. What speed were you going during his 1st ride video, and what speed during his 3rd ride video?

Thanks a lot Johnny. It's been really fun watching him learn. This weekend he didn't want to cross the wakes because he wanted to have the "longest run" without falling out of everyone on the boat. The whole time he is having fun which is the whole point.

We started out around 9MPh, and now he is riding at about 12.

He is riding a LF Nemesis and now he is riding on about a 40-45ft rope. It was a little shorter in that video.

Hoping to ride some doubles with him this weekend!
