I live in Mitchell. I work in Paoli. So I am pretty much split right between the two. My boat is having some minor things done before I can get out.

Geist is 55!? It's that shallow or something? Monroe is definitely still in the 40's.

One thing is for sure, lake levels are crazy high. Monroe is a little over a foot away from capacity, where it will go over the "emergency" spillway.

They definitely are. Patoka I hear is near record highs. No place for it to go either.

I want to get down and check out Patoka really soon. I read they have floating cabins???? You know anything about those? Like can you take them anywhere or are they anchored in a specific place? Sounds like a really nice lake. If you come to Monroe look for a skylon with boardracks, we'll for sure be out tonight and Sunday after the rain.

The cabins are not mobile. They stay put. If you are looking to stay at Patoka I would suggest their campgrounds. They're fairly nice and right on the water. I plan on getting out to Monroe next weekend. My schedule will probably be Patoka on Wednesday afternoons and Monroe early on weekends.

Have to be suuuper early on weekends after Memorial day hits, I don't think about riding unless it's right at dark. Fishermen love to fly in the morning, fog or not, so be careful. Any weekday evening with nice weather we're out there.

I am going to be in Indianapolis on and off all summer for work and am looking for people to ride with. My first week down there is may 12-17, and then pretty much all of June.
