Here are the results from Nationals so far. They just started Pro Women and Pro Wakeskate today. All the amateur titles have been awarded except for Jr. Men.
Sorry about that. I forgot that we also have Boys and Jr. Boys to go. Congrats to Jacob Valdez for making it to the Finals in Boys and hats off to a great effort by brother Eddie in Jr. Men.
I noticed something interesting. How come that the Canadian grom who got second in Boys division was ineligible, yet Rusty was awarded 3rd in Pro while still representing Canada. Doesn't seem fair.
Anyway, congrats to all of the riders regardless of where you placed !!!
It's actually two tournaments in one. It's a World Cup event AND Nationals. There is no double standard.
Rusty placed 3rd in the World Cup event and will get points towards the King of Wake title for his efforts. However, he did not place third in the Pro Division for U.S. Nationals, Tino Santori did.
As I said, he did take third...in the World Cup event. I would assume he got some money too! However, he did not place at the U.S. Nationals. Again, same tournament time and location, but really two tournaments with different qualification rules.
