Those are some crisp shots Bill. Just out of curiousity, what kind of camera is that and what features does it have? (dumb is down a little, I'm not "in the know" on cameras)

I like the first one the best....lol

Bill,

You should automatically post your camera info, settings, and equipment each time you post your pics. Seems like people always want to know.

thanks you guys for the good time today. we made the best of the conditions we had. Thanks Bill for shooting film, Todd see you in class soon. Paula hope to see you next week, same time same place.

Everyone went to the Welcome video premiere tonight. It was really good. Lots of appearences of our local industry celebs and Brian Grubb showed up with a ton on Billabong goodies. Wakesports gave away a ton of stuff as well. Big thanks to Tylers Wakesports Unlimited for hosting the event, another fine production by his crew.

Water 58 today, air 70. Wind 10-20, gusts had to be 30 mph.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the pics. The camera is a Canon Digital Rebel, which is a 6.3megapixel digital SLR (like a normal 35mm camera, but digital).

ah right, so they are. what's wrong with lf? their site still just has the 2003 up and they're selling 04 stuff in the stores!

what time is it there kristian? im a night-person. which is why i really need to become independently wealthy so i don't have to get up at ridiculous hours of the morning to go wakeboarding!

it's like 12:10pm. Just become a Rock Star, that'll sort things out.
Yeah, LF have to get moving on that site.

Bill, you should send the first one in to WBM, to be the "last blast" (if they still have that section?)

I agree, that first pic is amazing!

Tim,

I set the camera to manual, then adjust the exposure based on lighting. For a sunny day I usually shoot at ISO 100, 1/2000, f4. I have the focus point set on center, so I focus on the rider once they are up and riding then switch the lens to manual focus to lock it. I'm using a 70-200 f/4L lens for most of the wakeboarding shots.

I bet you guys had no idea that Greg was trying on OA5 in that first pic huh?

Wow! Now that I look closly, I can see the belt:-)

Lynsey, I never know what I'm gonna do out there. I wish I could say that I could bust a crotchwaffle anytime I wanted but unfortunatly I'm out of control most of the time:-(

No offence Greg, but (as Bill said) had no idea that was a O/A 5, I was thinking more along the lines of swandive.
