Bow Filler Sac - need bow filler cushion?

I want to buy the 1000 pound bow sac but how well would that hold up without a filler cushion? it seems like the cushion would be needed but I figured I'd ask before i dropped the 180 bucks

I dont have a filler cushion either and when I throw a 400 across the bow I just stack some of the orange PFD's in there. It works perfect and gets those things out of the way!!

Yeah I think I'm just going to buy it and if it is necessary i guess I will just buy one later?

I just toss my orange vests under mine also, Or you can just find anything to put under it to support it. I have not used mine with out support.

Buy that thing and you will love it ! Unless you like ppl sitting in the front of the boat !
