Does anyone know anything about this boat? I found one for 5000 in pefect condition. Is it good for wakeboarding?

It is probably not optimal for wakeboarding - but it is a total classic. Got any photos?

We had a Mustang 17 and sold it for our first Ski Nautique 2001. Our family still regrets selling that Mustang.

If you got it, don't put a tower on it - that boat is just too much of a classic.

yeah i figured that wouldn't be a good idea,

im not really looking for that specific model though. I acually just found a '85 2001 on craigslist for 6000. these ski boat really can hold thier value when they get that old. This boat looks really good too.

Mustangs were nice boats, but really small. Most of them didn't have swim platforms.

If you get the 85 2001, you could probably use it a couple of years and still get back your $6000.

why just an 85?

Any 2001 would work. But he said he had a line on an 85 for $6K, which is a pretty good price if the boat is decent.

We had a '75 Skier 16. Great little boat for skiing or not-too-serious boarding, very little storage, no swim platform, but a fun way to get into boating. We had a lot of good times in that boat. CC boat 1975 002.jpg

We have two of them on our lake. They are the classiest looking ski boats imo. I'd love to buy one just for cruising, but the wife would kill me if I brought another boat home
