Like those graphics, modern, but not too over the top.

Is that a custom trailer? I thought the X2 only came with a single axle trailer. Either way great looking boat.

He probably rides in Salt Water. It looks galvanized or Aluminum...

wow that is sexy... buy it....

billy what is the scoop with the tower braces... i saw them on an 08'. are they a must? to much flex in the tower?

The trailer is made by Phoenix. They are located near the MC factory and make the trailers for MCs big boats. The main reason I went with them is that it was significantly cheaper than the dual axle painted MC trailer. I also think that they look beter and should hold up better as well.

You don't have to think that trailer will hold up better. KNOW that it is going to hold up better. A painted tube trailer is the worst that can be purchased. Manufacturers have us convinced that the paint matched trailer is better somehow; maybe it's the bling factor. They should be cheaper. I replaced a 10 year old trailer with an aluminum and will never need to worry about the condition inside the tubes again.

diggs,

yes poor tower design too much flex. They come standard now on 08's with tower speakers. You can get them warrantied for 07's.

Michael,

The black X1 went to a good home not to far from you in Michigan.

Tower braces are a must no matter what. My friends x2 tower broke completely. luckily no one was riding or it would have been a disaster with hurt people and tons of fiberglass work. Boat looks awesome good luck

Thanks for the replies. I went and looked at it this weekend (9 hour round trip to the MC dealer) and worked out the deal. Just wanted to say how pleased I am with Chad at Carolina Mastercraft in working the deal. I will take ownership after the boat show, so he gets to show it and I don't have to take possesion until the end of jan. If anyone is looking for a MC in the Carolinas or Georgia, i would definitely give Chad a call.

I have an 07 X1 and love it. Wake is great. Why are you guys upgrading to the X2? I assume it is for space but am curious. I have heard the X1 wake (for wakeboarding - not skiing or surfing) is one of the best. Just curious.

BTW - GREAT looking boat!

I would say the space is the main reason. The wake is awesome on the X-1.. can't argue that...

I am one of the few that never liked the X1's wake. I never got use to the quick kick that probably 9 out of 10 people liked and even stopped doing raleys after eating about 5 in one week (I may have fell on raleys 2 times in in 8 years until I bought the X1). I rode the X2 in the fall at the dealer with over 2000 lbs and I fell in love with the shape of the wake.

Just my oppinion and I know I am in the minority on this. My advice is to ride behind the boat weighted down before you buy.
