Friday we were riding down Twin Sloughs heading towards Union Point when I hear a bang from under the boat. I realized I hit something but never saw what it was. I then saw the LSV coming towards me the wrong direction on Twin Sloughs. It looked as if they were looking for something in the water and I was wondering if I hit whatever they were looking for. When my daughter got back in the boat she asked if I saw her almost hit the wakeskate. We boarded pretty much all the way to Union Point and the LSV powerturned in front of me picking up his riders at least 5 times. That boat made an ocean of waves by itself!Luckily, I didn't get any hull damage from the wakeskate. Thanks! And by the way, Union Point has definately improved their facilities and the food was very good.

The color of boards today can be hard to see in water. Glad to hear that everything was okay with the boat. Would suck if you had to take it in for repair.

Rod- Glad it wasn't anything major. Definitely second Union Point facilities. Was there Monday and had a great BBQ chicken salad. Pretty nice out on the deck there.

Thanks guys. Yah, Union Point used to have those plastic tables and chairs. #220+ and I'm thinking more about the chair collapsing then enjoying the food. They now have the steel benches with the In' and Out type metal umbrellas. We had a party of 9, and not one complaint. The burgers are above average with Angus beef. Good times.

Glad you escaped major damage. It's also good to know that a$$clowns aren't just located in the southeast. There everywhere, messing shiat up and acting like they have a clue.

Did you give the wakeskate back, or keep it as compensation for ruining the glass and endangering your boat and rider?

I didn't even know about the skate until my daughter was done with her set. I think the Malibu went back and found it because they came back and passed us. I've had my skate come out of the board rack before. I'm more bummed about all of the powerturning.
