hs 3's are easier to land and proly ur best bet since u got a good hs jump...ts are easier to spin but a lil harder to land cuz its a blind landing....most ppl will go for hs 3 first

if your having troubles clearing the wake toe side you should probably go for the hs 3 first. from personal experience i have found the hs 3 much easier than ts 3's

thanks for the input..

If I am regular foot forward I assume I spin counter clockwise correct?

I never understood what distinguishes frontside from backside. It would seem your back is to the boat either way.

For me ts 3's I landed in like 2-3 tries. It took me at least 50-60 tries to get the heel 3. Funny thing is, the ts 3 comes and goes. Is very consistent for a long time, then I'll struggle for a couple weeks. The heel 3, I very rarely miss.

Just an FYI, on the ts 3, think don't spin, just pass the handle. Where on the hs 3, you difinetly need to spin it.

yes if you left foot forward you spin counter clockwise.

jim, the description comes from the position of your body during the 1st 180. A bs 3, your back is to the boat during your first 180, not necessarily at the end of the 1st 180.

I appreciate all the help. Skubz I am an idiot I know but it still makes no scense.

If I am left foot forward and coming to the wake the front of my body is facing the boat. It would seem my first 180 puts my back to the boat weather it is clockwise or counterclockwise.

Jim,

The terms are from skating. Think about a 1/2 pipe, if you ride up the wall and turn frontside, your body will be facing up and out of the pipe. If you ride up and turn backside, your body will be facing down into the pipe.

To make sense to you when boarding, ride normally directly behind the boat(left foot in front of right). If you were to initiate a frontside 180 now you will be facing the boat 1/2 way through. If you were to initiate backside 180, you would be facing away from the boat 1/2 way through.
