So I don't know if any of you guys saw my other thread about my broken Company board, but I ended up getting a good deal on another 09 Severnce. Second set though, my binding breaks. The fabric that holds the holes that the laces go through completely ripped out. Pretty frustrating, but the board is great. Can't wait to get a new setup next year though!

Wow talk about a bad day. Atleast you like the new board. What were the bindings that broke?

Frustrating, but not 'serious' bad luck like some injuries posted around here.

that sucks man. but, you'll get used to it lol. some of us go through 6 boards and 6 pairs of bindings in a season (and our seasons are only 6 months long). you just learn to always have 2 or 3 boards and bindings on hand at any given time.

I agree with AtTheLake, as long as you aren't talking about broken body parts, this is not "serious" bad luck! Focus on the fact that you can ride, even if on borrowed/used equipment!

Ya i regret making that the title as you guys said, but pretty frustrating.

Bindings that broke were the 2009 Companies.

Yeah, Nick...I'm sure it's frustrating to have equipment fail. I guess I'm just envious of the fact that you can ride. I've been out since April and likely not on the water again until Feb 2011! Equipment failure is an inconvenience on your wallet and having your preferred set up; focus on the fun you have in spite of that!
