A guy I work with is selling a '00 Malibu Sunsetter, he never rides it. It's probably not got 30 hours on it, it has the tower, speakers, lights. Everything minus MLS. It's a 21 footer in great condition. He's wanting to sell it for $17,000. Is that a fair price? I have no idea what a Sunsetter would hold value at. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

check nadaguides.com, boattraderonline.com, flipsell.com, and the classifieds here for some ideas. that sounds like a good buy, though.

More than a fair deal. Sounds like a very good deal. I sold my 97 Bu closed bow (loaded) for 16K a few months ago, it had about 200 hours. You can plumb a ballast in it (sacks in the rear storage and walk through floor locker). If it has everything else, your ready to rock for under 20K.

Does it have a decent wake? Any pics of the wake?

That is a steal if it is in great shape and has that low of hours on it. Add perfect pass and ballast and you will be good to go!

If I'm not mistaken, it has Perfect Pass. The ballast is a must. I went and looked at it after work, and it's immaculate. Has everything I could ever want, to be honest. I just called Shadrack about it and they even said that was a steal. Now, where to get the money, haha.

If it is the LX then I am pretty sure that it is the the SV23 Wake hull. It will throw a big wake when weighted right. I just bought an 02 Wakesetter and I'll weight it up and take some wake pics for you this weekend if I go out.

Cody, sounds like a no-brainer. If you can't swing it, email me, I would be interested. I want a DD.

You're right Jeffrey, it is the SV23 Wake hull.
2000 Sunsetter LX specs

21' length
93" beam
18" draft
2800 Lbs. dry weight
10 Persons
38 Gallons
SV23 Wake hull

I have a 97 with that same hull and it throws a great wake.

My brother riding. (He is 5'11")
