Lets see those pics... especially of the one with the huge swim platform with integrated ballast... and lets see some pics of this "so called" first wake boat ever built....

Why dont you start an Useless Poster Pride thread, and your picture can be first.

Only you and about 2 others think this kinda of crap is funny.

Grow up, or move on.

I think it's funny...
Kyle adds some very needed comic relief to Wakeworld and if you've been around here for I dunno and hour or 2 you'll quickly realize that everything he says is in fun and not meant to bash or make people mad. Some people are just tender...

Sorry Mike... this thread is not labelled as "Profile Pics of those Shaped like a Pear"

I actually like the original Bazooka... if I remember correctly it was a Wave? Don't remember... and never really saw a lot of pics of the Bazooka... but I remember the innovative Swim Platform/Ballast.

It is boats like that that help test and push developments that we see today.

Whether something is successful or a failure... they help the developments we see in boats now and in the future.

Tyler if you make the 10 hour drive to the Okanagan.. maybe we can do a real life test of...

Svfara vs Liquid Ride vs Epic

Let me know when you are in the area.

Tyler,

You may be right, but when every pile of crap smells the same, it's hard to tell which dog it came from.

I'll be the second one who thinks its funny.

When did the "platform" boat come out?

tigemike, if you don't like the thread don't click.

I loved this boat, our neighbors had one and for its time it was awesome.... haha.
I'll 3rd it, awesome and funny

Ya nice looking cup holders at the bow.
Old     (hamkj)      Join Date: Apr 2002       02-24-2008, 7:22 PM Reply
The bow had a unique wrap around layout since there was only a partial windshield in front of the driver... Like I said before... it takes some risks to make a hit... when you are the bog player like MC.. you can make a center drive boat and people dont knock it as much... but I would love for some boat company to take some of the deck layout of the Bazooka.. and maybe refine the hull to make a better wake.. though.. I have never seen the wake behind this boat... post more pics... Wakeworld had a review on this boat back in 99... and it got a great review...

Any chance of pulling up some of those old pics WAKEWORLD?

I will second that I find this amusing.

Also I must say Kyle is a great guy. He obviously wont remember but he spent one hour teaching me and my bro to ride and now its what we spend our summers doing. Definitely need to hit him up for some intermediate lessons.

Third bring on more pics!!!

Hey Bryan... I only wanted to take a little fun dig at TigeMike... but not Tige owners.. because some of my favourite boats are Tiges... original 21v... and 22i Type R.... love the new look of the RZ series!

But my dig was going to be... Tige doesnt need ballast.. Its not the convex hull or TAPS that gives it the big wake... it is the size of the owner... which produces the big wake.... wont name names though.. heheheh

does anyone have a pic of someone going off behind one of these

Sorry guys, my post was meant to be a joke. I was only "taking a little fun dig at Hehateme". I'm surprised no one took it they way, I mean, this is the internet, where everything is easily, and always correctly, interpreted, right?

No hard feelings TigeMike... these forums allow us to say things that we cant say to wives or girlfriends or boss's or co-workers etc... without getting a slap up side the head or a life time of alimony or losing the boat or getting fired... etc etc etc

OK NOW... where are the pics people!!!! I want detailed interior pics.. and wake pics.. I know they are out there... who has them...

or the Centurion WAVE boat... was it not the same boat?

Its all good, brotha No hard felling here.

TigeMike... I like your 22Ve... but do you really want the RZ2? You have to love the look!
Old     (chpthril)      Join Date: Oct 2007       02-25-2008, 7:09 PM Reply
Thanks, for the compliment.

I like the RZ looks, but it's not for me. I prefer the classic pointy nose. If I were to go with a pickle fork, I would probably go with the RZ4. I like the interior/seating on it over the RZ2.

The Wave was actually made by Centurion. IT had the first ballast tank mounted underneath the swim platform witha highpole out the center of the boat. PRetty sure that was the first produced "wake specific boat with ballast"

I seriously can't find pics of a Centurion Wave anywhere

Can't find pics?

Here are some of a 1993 SkiCenturion Wave Comp. The Gekko looked much better IMO. There is a guy here in Columbus with a Bazooka, I know there were some pics from a costume wearin' wake event on here somewhere.

Remember the Centurion Tsunami boats...they were like 30 ft. long... you didn't need ballast in that beast

In that Ski Centurion Wave Comp is the engine in front of the driver? That's crazy.

Good thing they used galvanized pipe. Would hate to see that baby rust up! I don't see pipe dope at the fittings. They might leak!
