Nice. I was dumb enough to go to Lake Tahoe (I only live about 40 min away). Fireworks were great from the boat, as soon as they ended it was like the 7th fleet. Had the DXII with the bow pointing straight in the air to keep it above water. LOL. finally got behind some huge cabin cruiser and let him cut all the waves for me. Other than that it was a nice day till a motorcycle and a minivan hit (fatality) that closed the highway on the way home. Didnt pull in till 2:30am....

I used to go up there every year, always a fatal accident. Always a mess. Usually a great time though!
We took the boat to sac and hit the river and discovery park. Never again. What you described is exactly what it was like at the river. And only 1 launch ramp. It was horrible.

Ya, I launched at Obexer's over in Homewood, which was nice, no line in and out was super easy compared to the zoo over at South Shore...

Folsom and Disco Park are 2 places I stay away from on busy weekends.. When I used ot live in Granite Bay I would just go sit on the launch ramps and watch all the morons who had no clue what they were doing. Seen a few people launch there truck with their boats...

1st. need more weight in the front to plane out.
2nd. a panoramic of me taking a panoramic pic of the party. can't really see but there are about 200 people on shore. waiting to eat a 120 pound pig that's in the ground and 150 pound of chicken on the grill.
