All,

I'm really new and looking for some advice. Do you all have different set ups (boards, bindings) for riding a cable versus riding behind a boat? It looks like most folks drop the fins for the parks but keep them for behind a boat? It looks like I'll be getting more time on a cable and wasn't sure if i should look for a board more for that than behind a boat, does it matter?

Is the LF Witness a decent intermediate board for both cable and boat? Any other recommendations (i'm 6'2, 220)?

Thx,
T

I ride a Motive 134 on the cable and a Motive 140 behind the boat. I remove the fins on both and just use the molded fins. I like the smaller board on the cable so that the board sinks in the water more for air tricks.

the witness is a excellent board i would recommend the grind series if you will be doing cable. it lasts alot longer.it also has a removable center fin. most cable parks have a witness they can rent to you so you can judge for yourself.

I ride my recoil fins out at the park and fins in on the boat. The watson Flex is also a great board I have rode that board as well.

The witness is a fantastic board for both the park and boat (well, I've been told it's good for boat I've only rode it a few times but liked it every time). It's easily one of the best boards for cable however....

I am 5' 10" 160 lbs and ride Witness Grind 140 for both cable and boat. I like it for both.

My son is 5' 8" 145 lbs and rides Witness 136 for boat and Watson Hybrid 139 for cable.
