Walt, if you need a ride on the lake let me know we have room in the boat. We had a couple of people back out for weddings, go figure. But I warn you it is pretty loud on my boat and I like it that way.
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       04-13-2005, 2:59 PM Reply
I have room too. And my boat is even louder than John's.
Old    walt            04-13-2005, 3:01 PM Reply
John, Thanks for the offer but monk has me covered if I need it. I'd like to take a better look at your Mb though and get a few pics of it.

completely off topic, but does anyone know why I can not bring up this weather link or anything from weather.com when I have never had a problem in the past? Thanks

J-Rod or John...I may need a spot if you're offering to "Non-Walts?" LOL

I'll know as we get closer for sure if I'm coming or not...I think it's likely!!!

I'll bring the Jagermeister and Coorslights, and red bulls!

"Jagermeister and Coorslights, and red bulls"

Dan, You can have a spot on my boat if you change it to Jagermeister and budweisers, and red bull.

Dan,

If you are packin' Seirra's, and are in the SD area, you can have a pull anytime. Mmmm. That's what is in my hand right now!
Old    hyperryd            04-13-2005, 5:16 PM Reply
How about Unleaded, Budlights, and Mountain Dew. I get harrased when Coorslights are on my boat. I don't know why?
Old     (depswa)      Join Date: Nov 2000       04-14-2005, 2:05 PM Reply
Buzz...Nice boat! I'll definitely hit you up if I ever make it down to S.D.! Where do you usually ride? San V, Saltwater, or ?

John, How 'bout I bring an assortment of beers and a lot of coozies so if anyone with Beer envy is around you can conceal it...kinda like wearing boardshorts over your wetsuit! LOL

Oh, and unleaded? are you crazy...have you seen gas prices lately? Just Kidding...I thought that was a given I can bring the syphon hose and we can wander the campsites while we're hyped up on Mountain Dew and Red Bulls at 4 am!

Ant... Don't say it. I've been keeping track and right now it isn't looking so promising if you believe the weather man. Of course it was supposed to rain on Tuesday and that didn't happen. I'll believe the predictions on friday morning. I think they can figure out about 24 hours in advance. Anyhow, it's on no matter what. If it rains we'll have lot's of EZ ups and we'll just have to drink our way through it.

If those weather reports were truely indicative of California's weather this year it would change every 15 minutes, real time.

Stay with it guys. Getting better by the day. All it'll take is a week of seventies or eighties and the water temp will be mid to high sixties.
Old     (stephan)      Join Date: Nov 2002       04-15-2005, 4:48 PM Reply
My god people, don't you know that weather forcasting a week in advance is basically non-existant. Those fools can barely tell me accurately what will happen tomorrow, let alone 8 days from now. You guys are from CA, you know what I'm talking about!! I hope everyone has a great time, sorry I can't join ya. W$R to the house!!

I will bet that the water will be approaching 70 in some spots if this weather holds up. Looking better by the minute.

Relax, weather will be fine. No matter which graphic they use in the depiction, they all report only a slight chance of rain. "Few showers" at that.

Rain is disappearing, even the 5 o'clock news says none, and as a bonus they said all the wind will be dying as well. It's all looking up.....

Chad when are you getting there? I think I will be leaving at noon or around there.I should make good time I dont think I am pulling any boat down.My friend Mike is going to tow his boat(the 98) down himself. So just gotta set up camp and then relax from there.....

I am hoping to be their by 12 on Friday, but you know how that always goes.

I thought check in was at 2pm? Can you get there early?
Old     (forwaken)      Join Date: Jan 2003       04-21-2005, 5:29 AM Reply
You run the risk if someone was in "your" spot the night before, but if no one was there, they'll usually just let you in. I am not too concerned being as it is a Friday and all. I might even get there a little earlier.

Old     (ivyrider)      Join Date: Jan 2004       04-21-2005, 8:44 AM Reply
There are a few of us getting there about noon too. It should be early enough in the season that there isnt any problems. Also, if you are coming in with the boats, you can always just launch, and board, then come back after 2 and set up camp.
