I hope they are that good! I went to OWC over break and pulled the tongue out of my Driver boots. I've only had them for 10 months. Hopefully they can help. I had a taste of the flex and won't go back and am pretty sure i'll stick with slingshot forever if they can straighten me out here.

kyle is it possible for you to replace my slingshot recoil 138? I rode cable last year and got pretty torn up
Old     (sidekicknicholas)      Join Date: Mar 2007       04-14-2009, 2:55 PM Reply
^ why exatly do you want one?
You've said:
"DO NOT go for the slingshot if you are going to be riding cable alot. My friends lasted for 3 weeks and my recoil lasted for a month. Go for a board with a grind base!"

Zach, no one likes it when people abuse the system, it's not cool. Even worse is that you told someone not to support the product you're now trying to get warrantied.

If that was directed towards us, we use a grinch, and I'd say it'll get up to 25ish mph, with plenty of torque to deepwater start if you have the winch staked down well enough.

Haha, what a tool, I don't care how old he is!
Why would a company warranty a perfectly good board that was torn up on sliders?!

Hey, I busted my Jeep climbing rocky hills, can you guys fix it under warranty?! NO!

Jeremy - in his profile picture, but he rides a Ronix Arcade by Bill and "loves" it, so obviously does NOT support Slingshot at all, sorry, dishonest people as such make me sick

Hey guys, thanks for the support! I try to be as fair as possible and make it easy and fast to get your gear replaced. I know what itís like to be without gear during the middle of summerÖit totally blows! If you bust a board on rails, we canít cover it, but I usually have used stuff or blem boards I can sell at a discount price to get you back on the water so you are not screwed. If you hit rails, but your board broke from other reasons, by all means, send me photos of it, and I will see what I can do for you. Stuff happens...things break and I try to be as fair as possible to help all you riders out. Thanks all you supporters of Slingshot out there! Have a flexcelent day!

got my new plates in for my drivers and issue was solved! Thanks Kyle! Another thing I thought was great was that it is way easier dealing with them direct as opposed to like Hyperlite where I had to drive an hour to a dealer to drop it off, pay shipping and usually wait around to see what they could do. When they aren't out riding slingshot is easy to get a hold of lol But for real they are really fast!

Kyle you said you could sale used or blemished boards? Could I buy one from you directly or would it have to be a warranty kind of transaction? I really wanna try flex but I'm kinda low on funds and I'm having trouble finding and 08 142 recoil or response.
Old    Slingshot            04-15-2009, 3:22 PM Reply
Hey Darren, I usually keep the blem boards and used ones for warranty because we don't get that many of them. Look around on the net, you can find some good deals, and I think there are a few for sale on wakeworld too.

Kyle, I asked for some of the ankle braces for my 09 boots about a week ago. Know if they have shipped yet?

My case #4021.
