So I just picked up a Canon 60d with the 18-135mm kit lens.
I bought the camera mostly for filming purposes.
I really want to pick up a lens that has a good depth of field for some good looking b-roll footage and whatnot.
I mostly film wakeboarding and snowboarding, but I'm not gonna worry about a fisheye till next winter for snowboarding.
I've googled around, but I thought I would ask you guys what works best.
Thanks!

Any lens will give you a good depth of field. All you need to do is stop it down to f9 and you're set. Fisheye lenses actually work best for this in my experiences.

I agree with everything Scott said.... and I think snowboarding looks awesome using a fisheye. I wish that damn Canon 8-15L would get into production!!!

I have a 60D with an 18-135, a fixed 50 and a fisheye.
If you want a crazy depth of field get the 50mm. if you want wide go for the fisheye
